Kartik Aaryan’s *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3* is making waves with an impressive start, raking in ₹29.73 crore by 8 p.m. on its opening day.
This is Kartik’s biggest opener, surpassing *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2*.
The film, with a high 66% occupancy rate, is competing with Rohit Shetty’s cop drama *Singham Again*, which opened stronger at ₹37 crore but had a slightly lower occupancy at 55%.
Anees Bazmee, the director of *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3*, sees the simultaneous release as an opportunity rather than a “clash” and is thrilled with the audience’s reaction.
He considers the film’s reception his best birthday gift.
The movie features a star-studded cast, including Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Triptii Dimri, while *Singham Again* showcases Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, with a cameo by Salman Khan.
Both movies are expected to continue strong at the box office over the weekend.
