The Malayalam mystery thriller Sookshma Darshini, starring Basil Joseph, has been a solid performer at the box office.
On its 21st day, the film crossed the important 50 crore milestone, with a total worldwide collection of 52.5 crore.
Despite facing tough competition from big releases like Pushpa 2, the film has managed to maintain steady earnings, though its day-wise collection dipped to around 19 lakhs.
The movie, made on a budget of 10 crores, has earned 25.94 crore net in India and 21.9 crore from overseas.
This has resulted in a remarkable return on investment (ROI) of 159%.
The film also features Nazriya Nazim, Akhila Bhargavan, and Merin Philip, with music by Christo Xavier and direction by MC Jithin.
While its box office journey may slow due to ongoing competition, Sookshma Darshini’s impressive performance highlights its strong appeal and solid growth, despite the crowded market.
